Teamworker Blog

THE core aim of Teamology is about an individual teamworker knowing what they can do to make a difference to the way a team is working. This blog reflects that aim.

15 April 2008 - This morning I was working as a team worker in a project team set up to get a new product started. There were three of us in the situation and no leader. It was a tricky project that we had all been putting of for a year however tuesday morning found us in the same room at the same time with a choice of a sociable chilled out morning or.... This group of people together generated what I call momentum. Apart there were a load of factors stopping doing the job, but together there was always someone to say lets give it a go, someone else to chuck in an idea and someone else to do a bit of doing. The team was pretty well unstoppable. My insight on this one is that teams can be great at getting on with something that a person by themselves might not get on with. The team can give momentum to a situation.
